Daytona saloon per chance? That looked horrific, I'm very sorry you weren't so fortunate injury wise. Audis are incredibly strong cars, if yourself, Dazie or the chap I mentioned had been in lesser cars, I'm sure you may not have been so lucky.

I'm sure you saw Dazies second pic on page 2! Ouch

Bloody hell - I'm so sorry - I didn't notice that this had been added.

Having said that - a colleague of mine in Bavaria had a very similar accident in a Nissan, skidding on ice/snow and rolling down a hill.
He spent 6 weeks in a drug induced coma in Munich, and in fact his wife was advised that they should consider switching off the life support machine.
Being a superfit triathlete, somehow or other he survived, but with little quality of life, he now lives in a home, and can do little/nothing for himself.

Sorry but F@tBoyF@t didn't make the quote attributed to him above.

Probably the product of poor editing of quotes?

Hi guys , bruising coming out in neck and back now, so a bit stiff, head heeling up nicely but not a pretty site really but some would say no change there, a bit emotional and tearful
in all honesty about how close to the end I came , really makes you think about stuff, I love cars , always have but not necessary to have a supercar for thrills that could end it all, love the rs4, it saved my life but will buy a normal car from now on, I'm 44 , 2 kids , a great girlfriend and a stupid boy racer trait that I can't seem to grow out of so gotta go for a normal car , hope u all enjoy your cars and use them sensibly, right place and right times but I'm now done and want to grow old , again , many many thanks for all your concern and kind comments and I hope my post will make a few slow down and choose to drive fast in the right places within their limits. Just want all u guys to enjoy your rs4 s safely .

Nah its gotta be a A4 2.0 TDi quattro. Audi UK and the dealers seem to have registered a few more (dealer demos etc) in the last 12 months or so, possibly with the facelift, hence there are more of them around, hence prices have come down a bit lately too. Tech pack (Nav & Xenons) B&O, 6CD, *NO* 19s, that's all I'd want/need - oh and the most important option - AVANT!
