usually in the 15-16.5 range, but around 24 on longer trips.

300 miles to a tank usually (or at least to the same place in the red (for whatever thats worth

Apropos of nothing; over in Peterborough today with a client and I had a trip in an 05 plate VW Shaza taxi with 378k on the clock. It did feel like a few thousand component parts attempting to travel in the same direction mind.

Good effort I thought.

160k miles

That's a good effort.

I should expect another 100k from mine then as I'm just over 60k now so it's going to last me for years and years

(won't think about fuel bills, tyre bills, brake bills, servicing bills, failing alternator bills, leaky intercooler bills, gearbox re-furb bills.............. which I'll incur over the next 100k miles though

138K in my old one before I drowned it (owned from 43K), and 98K on the present one (owned from 83K). So that's 105K of RS6 smiles on my face!!
