Glad it's sorted though. Phone busy Grizz?!

Well done Grizz

My car does not go to Audi anymore. Only to Revolution, MRC or Unit 20. I don't think I'd buy a car with only an Audi service history - great knowledge from P_G and great advice from D_K as always.

Hehe, was just going to do an update -but Grizz beat me to it :)

Once it's sorted (here's hoping the regas at Unit20 doesn't show up any further issues!), I'm going to complain to Bradford Audi who were originally given the car to do the regas and try and get my money back and also get them to reimburse me for Unit20's fees. Small Claims court here we come.

Just want to say thanks to the lads at Unit20 for taking a look so quickly, it _was_ obviously worth the trip over from Leeds - can't wait to get the car back and start enjoying that engine again without the backend bouncing about in a life-threatening manner and the front end knocking like Jehovah's Witnesses on speed.

Thanks to everyone for the nudge to try and get it sorted once and for all. Happy New Year.

Great news Tony, and well done Unit 20. Good luck with your claim against the dealer.

Good luck with Bradford Audi Tony, IMO they are a sham for not picking up basic issues and charging you for it. I'm not even sure how you can re-pressurise the system with the control valves shut. Top job Grizz. :beerchug:

Good news that the issue has been fixed.

Personally I wouldn't even bother speaking with the dealer I would be writing up a letter to the head of Audi UK and going that route.

I'd give the dealer a chance, Audi UK would ask that question first. The dealer might fall on his sword straight away. Ask Grizz nicely for something in writing to waive at them.

I'd bung an email to Martin Sander as well. If you don't have the address I can probably find it.

Picked up car from Unit20 at lunchtime, all sorted - I now have damping back and no longer get a smack in the back of my head when I go over a speed bump :)

Ride height is back to normal and it no longer looks like a drag racer.

Cheers again to the lads at Unit20 for turning it around so quick, will def use them again -despite having to spend half a day on the M62 :) Cost a bit over £300+vat to get the new hose fitted and a regas so am a happy camper (compared to the £k's I'd have lost on part-ex).

Now, about these Millteks...

Me too.
Only been on this forum for a short while but I've seen its worth many times already, and this was a particularly good example
