Neastev, do you mind if I upload that to the repository I am building? Although it was initially a mirror from that other site, I have been adding other files too.

Meh, you never know and was a bloody nifty little job you did with all that :). I have altered it slightly with a paragrpah of text at the top and a link to this thread. Have stuck it in the root and the RS6 area and have shifted the whole site to one of my more flagship web servers

Hi Mr Footlong and neastev.

This is brilliant stuff. :jump_clap:

Mr Footlong, is it possible to add a C6 RS6 directory like the one for the Directory Listing of /tech/audi/A8/R8 to your Audi Technical file archive mirror?

This would be most useful to those C6 RS6 owners over on the tumbleweed city C6 forum like me.

or is this the Audi America generated site, so nothing onthe C6RS6 as never sold into the US?

Your Audi Technical file archive mirror is defintely a top candidate for the FAQ thread. 8)

If you get a chance, can you update the document with the Audi quick coupling part number before that ebay link dies?

Neastev, did you do this with the weight of the car on the shocks or car in the air?

John, I can't take credit as all I have done is grab all the files from the earlier link and I have also put the original http link in the site title. This is all just in case that site dies a death some time. I have simply added a few more files and will continue to do so as/when I come across them. I never go in to the C6 forum so I wouldn't come across files to add, chances are. I have no problems being told what to add or be sent things to add in for anything audi-related :).

Shopp, no problem.

neastev, have you watched the 40min video on re-charging the C5 RS6 in the link I posted, gives a step-by-step, very interesting. Uses a different adapter that allows you to fill the system from the damper connection.

Trying not to think about it, :drink: Car has been handling great, better than before..... :greyrs4:

Oil change time last weekend (change it every 2500 miles to keep the engine Gremlins/worries at a minimum............ ) )

Checked all DRC connections and was pleased to see all bone dry :biggrin3:

The car never disapoints.............. and I found the prop shaft seal is leaking so need to get that sorted next.

Have done nearly 1000 miles since the drc pressure so hopefully it will continue....................

Gents, question for you UK guys. Anyone have the quick connect part (4B3 616 891) they want to sell? I am in the US and will pay the required shipping? Also, if anyone has one handy, can you take a few close up pics of both ends and the whole thing? I have extra DCS bits sitting around and I might try to fabricate the quick connect part from the bits.

Thanks!

Try giving MRC or Unit20 a call mate, they have removed most of our drc units.

Hi

This is an interesting thread. I still have the DRC system on my car. I got all four shocks replaced three years ago, have not encountered problems so far and was thinking of recharging the pressure and checking the system for leaks. I see that you require a special coupler part number 4B3 616 891 as shown in the picture below.
Does anyone know which thread connection type and thread pitch this coupler has? The picture showing protector caps on the end connections, so hard to see. It is an Audi/VW part so I guess it is metric M? thread, but which size and is it female or male thread? Please advice.

Thank you and regards.
