But you said Sarge was a bargain at 17k, this is a black 'loon too, with less miles and more power than Sarge. Ok, it isn't your average C5 RS 6 so may not be to everyone’s tastes but has to be worth putting up at £15k at least, put it at £10k and you'll have people offering £6-7k, and for that price - you may as well keep it. To be honest, it is a hard one to gauge. You need to sort the badges out and get it looking more OEM I reckon. I really don't know for sure, this is just all IMO.

True, but Doug didn't advertise his car properly, only a post on the MRC FB page, and his had circa 150k whereas this is under 50k iirc.

An 04 RS 6 non plus (Avant though) with 50k currently is CAP'ing at £11,300 (clean) £10,500 (average) and £9725 (below average), retail £13,550. If it's clean, a dealer will/could/should give you £11,300! Just to give an idea... GLWS anyway.

I know, to be honest, I was surprised that it even caps at £11,300. I thought it would be 8-9k! I've just been doing HPI's and CAP valuations all day, nearly home time. :)

All good valid points.. But at £10k it will be broken up as spares the new brakes are costing close to £1.5k new cam belt and water pump this year too .. Will have to gauge it better in the new year but it looks like plenty of spares will be available soon :boohoo:

I thought about that one already.. Quite imagine this car would be very desirable outside the UK :bigblink:

It would, but there's a lot of work in converting RHD to LHD. Not even possible on some cars. You are looking at a new dash, pedal box, steering rack, God knows what else... Nah, forget it, silly idea.

Not to mention legal issues trying to register such a car (LHD conversion) outside the UK.

If a dealer would give you £11,300K for it then bite their hand off. It's the manual/highly modified factor that will be the tough sell. Dunk, how long was it on sale before you started sniffing around it, was there any competition when trying to buy it? If there was, knock on their, it might get the ball rolling.
GLWS.

Very nice motor (would be worth lots more if it didn't have the nasty wood trim IMHO!)

Hope it goes to a nice home.
