C5 RS 6 LED Kit

This kit is an interior light kit Guys.


As Mr footlong said, the Red door lights have the silver LED's so when the red shines on the red lense its a deep red making it glow Alot better and Alot Redder (if thats a word) than the stock halogen.

Dunc, the wires on the 4 LED panel wont go to the middle as thats where the points are to power them up.

the boards where made up like this so i only had to pay for 2 moulds to be produced as they where very expensive to make up the 1st one which i have here.

the 4 led bulb can house the 4 led 5050 on 1 side and on the other it can have 12 3538(smaller) led's. the thing is the 12 led is no brighter than the 4 led 5050 and the cost of the 12 is quite a bit more so i dont get them made often with the 12.

The 8 led panel which i designed for the A3 8P as there was not an LEd out there that worked, i did all the readings and to date this is probly the only one that works in there due to the current and resistance. i get emails saying customers have tried several differant types of LED's in the 8P boot and nothing works, so i send this out with a money back garantee and hey presto they work.

Also i laid out the Loon kit in order of where the bulbs should sit in the car.

Does it make sense or shall i do another one just so its clear.?

Sorry Trups, i've had a mong of a week and didn't look to see if the bulbs were different. I didn't get chance to check last night as it was raining when i got home. All being well i can have a look tonight.

The attention to detail on these really is very good for a fairly small market/low profit/specialist application and I was impressed to see that Trups had gone to the trouble of getting custom PCBs(SMB) made up for them. Totally dead on about the 5050 vs 3528 diodes, I never bother with the 3528 diodes where possible as they are far weaker in comparison.

Trups, interesting regarding the 8L lights as I heard mutterings about this too but won't have a chance to test this until the Chrimbo break. Are we talking boot lights only or puddle/door warning lights too? The boot ones I have are drop in jobs so will know in 2 seconds flat but I will butcher a puddle light my normal way just to see with one of my normal 6LED festoon jobs and go from there.

Since we are on the subject, any one seen and bright H7 led ones yet? I'm thinking for my fogs perhaps.

I ordered a pair of Phillips x-treme h7 bulbs for my main beam. They should be with me by Thursday so can let you know if they are good or not, seemed to get good reviews.

Edit, just read that you meant led ones. No not seen them, hopefully Trups may have some dealings with them and can comment.

Well talk about lucky, I put the red bulbs in the correct holders without knowing.
Guys can you tell me if your holders are the same as mine, my drivers footwell is festoon, my passenger footwell is same as door lights and so is my glove box bulb. The kit said glove box is festoon?
