as amar said they are easy.

if its an pre face lift it only needs 2 for the front with no polarity, if its facelift you will need 4. all in stock.

After Trups swiftly sorted out my order today I bit the bullet and ordered all the other ones I needed for car #2. I should have just got a Trups kit but I really like the end result I got with all my custom bodgery on the beast, so stuck with what is a known quantity for me. Chances are Trups' kit would have given me the exact same result but hey, I like being a special kind of Mong.

i think i had only just designed my custom panel bulb when you was making yours fit into the 501 units.

I did the whole car around mid-March. Everything that could realistically be fitted with LED, was. Not a single bulb failure yet either, as expected. The cutting/shaving/soldering bodgery that I did to the puddle/doorlights was totally invisible from the outside, but gave loads of light as the end result.

ARSE, I forgot the bulbs for the driver/passenger footwells/vanity etc... Ah well, can sort those on when the car comes back so I can tell if I need to mod a bigger lens in to the passenger footwell like I did with the first car.

For those of you that aren't anal to the point of near-lunacy, just get the Trups kit. I promise you won't regret it unless you are utterly blind.

Trups, can you post up a pic of all the bulbs for this kit? I saw one on another forum or summat I think. No need to label them up like I saw that you did on the other pic either. I want to get another/better look at your custom door ones again please.

Regarding that TDI pic, any photochopping involved there at all? Just curious as my puddle lights are already stupidly bright yet the ones in the pic look brighter again, so I am tempted....

dont think the pictures have been shopped as the customer sent them to me a day or 2 after id fitted them.

If i remember right he upgraded to brighter LED's so rather than having the nice subtle ones that come in the kit which are the 4 led he had the 8 led ones.

Well they are only a PM away, £65 job done.......

Trups, got the bulbs yesterday thanks. Cheers for being so snappy on such a low value order. Have stuck the rear reading bulbs in and they are a much better colour match.

Regarding the 8 LED puddles that guy possibly used, the only decent ones I have ever come across have the heatsinks on the rear so he must have had a job fitting those in! I will take a look when mine turn up today and see if I can realistically squeeze them in, heatsinks and all...
