R8 V10 AFTER MARKET EXHAUST

Post by stevomepy » Wed Nov 21, 2012 11:27 am

Bonjourno
Really missed this forum since i sold my RS4 a couple of years ago :-( - I have been in a 997 turbo (DMS remapped and GT2 mostly - fast but sounds like a DYSON) - selling that at the moment and looking for an R8 V10. I had a de-catted non res Milltek on my RS4 which sounded awesome - if in actual fact a little too loud for my neighbours. What is the after market exhaust of choice for the above that people on the forum would recommend. Any thoughts would be gratefully received - preferably something that was switchable so that i dont wake the entire neighbourhood up in the morning on start up :-)

Ive seen a lot written on the forum about them - what sort of cost and where would you buy from?

yes
Capristo

it has remote valves ... you can go stealth mode or all out hell on earth mode

the sound it literally heaven ... NA 10 cylinder screaming 8,500rpm wail

cost is circa £3.5k new plus fitting ... many tuning houses will be able to sort you out .... try Unit 20 for you?

That sounds ideal - wonder if demon tweaks will do it - I get a good discount there D_K- thanks for the feedback - how long have you had yours fitted?

yes im sure demon tweaks will do it

iv had it fit about a month now

its simply awesome

its completely as silent as the stock zorst with valves shut ... but goes completely bonkers loud with the valves open

and what a beautiful sound, it isnt just loud for the sake of it ... its just glorious ... truely exotic

i really dont think anything else on the V10 scene comes close to it tbh ...

Cheers for that - just got to sell my turbo then find a v10 - then I can get one sorted - I had my mind on a miltek but think you've changed my mind !
