I honestly have zero idea what that whole fisherman thing was about, but I knew it was a golden quote and it was destined for greatness.

Slightly interested in this as am considering selling mine (hate to say).

I'm not really using it - it's done about 200 miles since we got back from France in it in July. So considering selling to get an older classic, or perhaps a C6 if I can afford it.

I wouldn't be happy selling for less than about £13000 - £14000 but at that price it's got nothing to hide and would come with roof bars, 19" alloys on GY assyms, and a separate set of the proper 18" winters with very new Bridgestone Blizzaks, loadliner.

Regardless of bookfather (not singling him out Bam :biggrin2: ) or naysayers these cars will command prices in an enthusiast' world which aren't really logical or related to guide book prices. The motor trade will see them differently as they want to buy them cheaply and make profit from them. I know more than a little as I do it as a day job - but the reconditioning costs to make the car "warrantable" are pretty huge. We owners, on the other hand, are going to LOSE money on them.

what else can i spend thousands of my hard earned wonga on all year?!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!
