this is great news, i need mine doing in the new year 100% and not many local places round here, worth knowing AMD can help

if you didn't have a gearbox in stock though how does that work? mine gets sent away? or you source another, any info be great guys

I have been involved with some of the usual suspects on here too regarding bombproof boxes and am genuinely interested in a 517Trans-style nuke-proof box as mine is right in the limit of the "torgues" that it can handle and I need MOAR, MOAR! The uprated box would have to be a bloody impressive design to get my business though.

Now if you guys could get an import-export uprated box exchange going with one of the expert yank slushbox upraters then we would be talking! I look forward to seeing your take on an uprated power box though .

Thanks for thinking of us guys AMD Essex as fixing these boxes properly have been overlooked for too long by some other tuning houses . I don't want an uprated RS4 with a manual box, I want a lazy auto with more power than god, kthxbai.

Good call, if they can supply a fully sorted 517 box then I can't see anyone going any where else. Would need to be uprated box, verter and control block though.

I could never spend £5,500 on my gearbox. I'd rather quit work and swap it out myself, flash gits. No, the normal £3.5k replacement jobbie will do me just fine, and even that will make me cry.
