I posted an autopsy of one of my sensors. It is impossible utterly impractical to replace the batteries on these.

Quick tip: don't cut into the battery itself with a dremel. It will release a gas, probably hideously toxic, that will make you gag. Ask me how I know.

Once they get to the stage they're showing around 12 months remaining, they do seem to start getting a bit unreliable.el_ringo wrote:FL 11 months

I have found a second fault for the other front now. I think I am due all four, it is a pain because they have died just as I put them on for the winter season. Would have been nice to sync this with a refurbishment.
