Wheels are now back from being refurbished:

They're now a gunmetal grey with diamond cut faces, and the grey in the MTM logo.

They're all straight and balanced, and I measured all the tyres at 6mm of tread.

A set without tyres recently sold for £950, and a set with better brand tyres for £1460. I'd like somewhere in between that for these.

I would take them back off until the end of the month matey, you will get a better auction if you run it over 'pay day'

Hadn't thought of that.

They've got some bids on and a LOT of watchers, so I guess I should let it run now.

I've had the inevitable "what's your best price?", to which my reply of "what's your best offer?" got me "cash £150". Yeah, right.

Hi, they come with centre caps, but they've got Audi badges on them rather than the Bimoto ones.

Are these the forged ones made by BBS or are they the "softer" original ones? Makes a fair old difference IMO.
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

Gone:

"Brutus"- C5 RS6 Avant - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats - Wagner ICs - PSS9 - H&R ARBs - OZ Superturismo LM - C6 Custom brakes - HD RNS-E - Various other bits - 555PS/832Nm
"Taz"- C7 RS6 - MRC stage 2 745PS/1095Nm
12' Cayenne Turbo, B7 RS4, S3, Cupra R, XJR, EVO VII, STI8,5,2&WRX, 106 GTI&XSI, other crap.

I'm afraid I don't know. Perhaps someone else can advise?

Sorry, it was a crap post from me. Someone posted in the c5 forum that there was a specific stamp on the back that showed they were the forged type. Sadly this is still useless as I can't remember what the stamp is.
Take a picture of the markings on the back of the wheels.

The winning bidder has sent me a message asking if they'll fit an A3. Which they won't.

Given (s)he is asking this after the auction has finished, I can't see this transaction completing somehow...

lucky escape matey that was a proper kick in the boollocks bargain price, end of the month for a nice christmas prezzie for someone just in time for santa. Always helps to put a retail value for new ones on your ad, spices the punters up a bit and helps enforce the bargain buy. GLWS :biggrin3:
