Hi Eddy,

I had the same dilemma, Mine is a 2006 with 27K on the clock and i did about 5K this year. The warranty is due for renewal in about 2 weeks. About the same price as yours but i would probably go for £100 Xcess...

I had the two front shocks replaced about a month ago, but i have still decided to renew. Another big plus is that I may sell soon and to offer it with the warranty is a big +.

I did put in 96K miles just to see and it was £2600 so as expected it is milage based...

I haven't properly decided but I'm 90% sure ill go for the 1 yr.

£823 for 1yr comprehensive 15k limit is worth going for with the full RAC Audi assist about £100 for the year. Mine goes in for MOT Tuesday and the free audi Winter health check so if I've issues ill know and be able to get done under this warranty hopefully.

Ive put 2.4k aside for rainy day costs for the last year but I'd rather have that peace of mind for another year and keep building the war chest.

I've just put a warranty on my R8, it was £1260 inc breakdown with £250 excess.I couldn't see the point of paying an extra £450 not to have an excess, I would only loose out big time if I made 3 claims in one year, which seemed highly unlikely.
It looks like I'm going to P/x it in a couple of weeks, and have been told that as long as I havn't made a claim I will get a refund for all unused days, so should get back approx £1100.
