LOL, I noticed that and started watching other vids to see if it was just mine that made it shake. I had to stand back because of the noise and vibrations coming off of it. I can't wait for the drive to work in the morning. I'm fully expecting a text from the wife just after I leave saying something like 'FFS, put the old one back on'.
And the answer to the big question is no, I still haven't stuck the sticker back down.mneed to find some superglue. I saw an unopened one the other day but can't remember where!

Awesome sound Mike. I can only imagine the grin on your face on the way home.
What makes it so loud?? is it the size of the back boxes or whats in them that determines volume??

Oh - and where did you get your LED number-plate lights from? I've tried a few from ebay and they just don't fit very well

Thanks guys.
The number pate lights were from eBay. As you say they needed a little bit of brute force to fit without a gap but got them in eventually (but not before dropping the little screw onto my gravel driveway at night!). No errors though unlike the first set of bulbs I tried.
The normal Tubi back box is loud, but I got the louder version, then fitted a non res centre section and gutted the pre cats. Add all of that up and you have one of the loudest street legal cars I've ever heard, although I'm sure it is probably illegal for something (emissions should be ok as I still have stock cats). I've no idea how they make the back box so loud other than probably making the back box amplify the sound rather than muffle. It's like having no exhaust at all.

Actually on my way home I was trying to think of how to describe the sound and I thought it sounded like when you have a really loud car and drive through a tunnel with all the windows open. Well, it sounds like that with the windows up and when youre not in a tunnel. Even all my amplifiers and speakers couldn't mask it!

Just started it for the 2nd time. OMG, it has this amazing sound as you start it cold, like an angry dog snapping at you, just a quick woof then settles to a nice burble.

That sounds absolutely awesome - much more V8 NASCAR than Milltek which is raspy. Don't worry, the novelty of the noise NEVER losses its appeal

.
Do Tubi do oval/OEM style tips ? How musch did the exhaust cost if you don't mind me asking ?

Tubi do a normal sound exhaust and the Rumore (shown as Loud on the website).
Each one can be finished in either the Oval or quad tailpipes.
All 4 are exactly the same price, somehwere around £1650 + VAT, so about £2k inc.
That doesnt include fitting. you have 2 options here as Tubi dont make a cat back for the RS4; you can either get it mated to an after market centre section (as i did) or connect it the the standard exhaust.
I dont know how difficult it is to connect to the stock exhaust but it will involve cutting it as it is one piece from the cat.
I went for the Milltek centre section with H-pipe. The Milltek didnt line up with the Tubi so i had to choose to either cut the Miletek and fabricate an S bend or just cut the Tubi, so the Tubi was cut to mate to the Milltek. The upside of doing it this way is that it is now a straight swap for a Milltek res centre section should i decide to change it. Also, if i see lthe Tubi at some point it will fit into a normal Milltek centre section.
You can buy the Tubi from the UK distribtuor Eurospares. They have the exact prices on their website.
