I would be interested to hear if this makes it a little too edgy for using 15,000 miles a year. My big worry is that after the change my car would just be a little too much and too noisy for everyday use. Looking forward to seeing it at a meet though as it is the ultimate current mod for our cars. The wait must be killing you!

You can install the tts with a stock exhaust so it wouldn't be too noisy for a daily. I ran non res valved milltek decat down pipes and mines was a daily. I loved it sounded awesome and at motorway speeds its not over intrusive at all. My car was supercharged for 25k miles of my ownership

With the tts? No different from stock except a lot more poke. The pes for me was too on/off due to the style of blower it's instant torque the tts is way smoother, hit 5k and its like a vtec switch being flipped till redline

That's good to hear and sets my mind at rest on those points. Only been in a couple of supercharged cars and they were chalk and cheese. Monaco VXR was smooth but my friends Honda S2000 is on/off like you described the PES. Still a ways off for me yet as I want to have everything else done on and in the car first but hearing from the guys who have the TTS is the only way to get genuine feedback on how it affects the car.

Again thanks for the info, will keep asking guys as they get theirs done to get a general consensus until I go down that route.

Hi Guy, update is that the transport folk let me down and didnt pick up the car on Thursday when it was ready :x
Its getting picked up tomorrow supposedly and i'll get it back Thursday or Friday. I truly have no patience whatsoever so this wait is driving me mental!
I'm planning a wee NE Scotland meet end Nov/early December with maybe a run too if we're lucky with the weather. Watch this space.

I'll post up my thoughts and experience with the charger as soon as I get some miles in, but as said previously, Dannys the one with by far the most miles with charged RS4's and he was a big influence on my decision to change up from PES to TTS. Lets hope I'm not going to be dissappointed, I'm sure I wont!

Haha, thanks mate! It certainly helps keep up my love of the car by doing something new (and expensive!) to it every year. Christ knows what I'll do to it next year!
