Exhaust valves

Hi
I've just bought and rs4 saloon was just wondering when you press the s button on steering wheel to open the valves shld both open at once or do they open at certain rpm while driving due to only one is open when stationary any info wld be great thanks

At idle with sport "on" they should both be open.
Also, vacuum required to close the valves so with engine off the valves should also be open.

Hmm definately something going on with mine then one is always open and the other I think is ok

Check the hose is still attached, if it comes off it will stay open.
