Sorry, Sonny - it was good catching up with you too. Seriously impressed by the corner weighting stuff you explained on your Clio and the track app. Chunky, don't listen to him - it wasn't fully naked, and they let us stay to finish our dessert. Not one to back out of a dare me. I'm waiting for PhilT to summon me any minute!
Footers, I'll send the photos right away.

Right.

That was the first proper geekfest car meet type doobamabob that I have ever been to and you know what, it wasn't half bad. It was a shame that it was a tad cold, windy and wet on occasion but the company more than made up for it.

It was great to meet some of us face to face. Nobby, sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye but after the rain had you hopping in to the RS4 next to us for some 3 up steamy dogging, we lost you mate. Technick, terribly nice fellow, the man who shall forever be known as the owner of the phwoar coloured 6. Bobby, you caught me by surprise as we were leaving and I was scratching my head thinking who the bloody hell were you but the dime dropped on the trip to the hotel, sorry about that.

Amanda1, I was doing sooooo well with my mission to play Mr elusive from you all day as you had no idea what I actually looked like, was great fun for my child-like noggin. My mission would have been a success too darling had I not been cornered by the others in that Cafe at the end of the day. I would say that I was sorry for the only thing I said to you being that mudflaps would look shat on your car but you both know I am right dear ;). Nice meeting you all the same but I fear you may be too much woman for me.

I must remember not to talk to PhilT for too long about any particular subject for too long as once the cogs really start rolling, you cannot stop the man. Hopefully Mrs PhilT managed to crank him down a notch on the trip home. Had any more ideas on that subject Phil? ;)

Amar, great to meet you dude, shame you ended up wanting to do everything after all, after deciding not to actually do it. You got most of the experience in the end, including that certain rather 'cough' awkward moment. I still think my genuine DYAC text should be posted up because I personally think that was one of my better efforts. The Swindon Audi event was totally up your street, was gutted for you. I genuinely think that you would take the shirt off your back to help others out. Great guy and happy to know you.

Chunky Monkey, aka mini-Footlong, you are an utterly class guy, I think I might have a man-crush on you, such is your 3:4 scale similarity to me sir. Loved your wife, loved her knockers more.

Bam, aka Jack Dee (Dye your hair, crack that suit out for every shindig and job done, can't deny it mate). This chap is very much my speed and is another really nice guy. Those of you that haven't met him and don't understand his posts, don't be haters as you are only getting a small part of his great persona. If you can't handle people like him and me then kthxbai kisses. :). P.S. I think I had a wet dream about Cynthia's leopard print stilettos, Madam Footlong got it so hard last night. Now if those got together with the candy red pumps that were also out there, woof!

Hopefully I was suitably entertaining to you all and I intend to continue my descent in to utter idiocy. No idea if we will be allowed back to the Gala do again, might need to bring some gimp balls with me. Ok, for those of you that actually waded through that guff above, pwetty picture time!

That was submitted, no idea how that went down and that was just the start

I don't even remember what bloody time that was but we roll hard. Amar is to the left of Jack for those that don't know his cute little Micheal Jackon loving face.

That's it, curry and shag time for me.

P.S. I am sure I bought one round less than you bastards.

Brilliant post, Nick.

Giggling like a little girl reading those quizz answers.

Great photo, Bam. Don't listen to footers, he's just jealous.

Looks like a good time was had by all. I wish I'd been able to make it... Next time.

I had an awesome weekend and it was a pleasant surprise to fill in some of the gaps to personalities on this forums. The bit at the end of the gala presentation, when we all lost our sh1t with giggles, priceless. Can't wait for the next meet or another trackday now.

Can't really say from that picture that you are going sideways - no counter steer. Very good picture though. Thumb up for the photographer.
Is your car the 4th one on the video (open sunroof)? Sounds fuking awesome...

That was a great write up, Footers. You're right, Dunc is your 3/4 scale version and Bam is Jack Dee. I'm sure it isn't the first time someone has called him that. Technick, your car looked great as did Nobby's and Bobby, I didn't see you but yours looked great too. Bam's looked evil and sounded scary, Dunc's showed how great missano can look when clean (take note, Amanda) when I left the hotel, there was a crowd of 4/5 blokes admiring Dunc's car, not paying any attention to the others C5s parked next to it!

We did RS246 proud, the quiz answers were brilliant. I reckon we'd (I'd) have offended less turning up red line to the Prius owners club meet, which incidentally was on this weekend too. Overtook three of the barstewards on the Fosse Way going home.

My favourite car at ADI? It has to be that white A1 quattro thingy.

Everyone that helped me out during the 'awkward' moment as Footlong put it, thank you so so much. I really appreciate it. Baku was wrong about all of you.

Here's Footers text, if I was in Natzi mode, I would have had a field day.

That will be a while now. I'm happy to take the lead and try and arrange a weekend up around some deserted roads around the Isle Of White or something? Hopefully Shop and the others that didn't make it can come up this time.

We NEED to sort something out before the new year guys.
I will not forget the first time i saw bam without his glasses on, he is defo Jack Dee!! Don't really want to make him sound like a nice guy on here cause that would kill him but, he really is a class gent. Crazy Cynth was bloody funny aswell, fury shoes (can't actually remember the name we made up for them?)

Amar, first time i have met you yet we have been sexting each other for well over a year, won't be that long till we ''meat'' (sorry had to drop that in after the grilling we gave you over the meal) again.

12"/Footlong/Nick/Alot bigger version of me. Feck me you are big! Spent pretty much the whole day with you and Jules and it was great fun. Propper gent and some one who always has to be better (had to have 2 frigging Flakes in his ice cream cause i had one!) Glad you bought your young lady with you casue thats what made me bring Faye along. Think the 3 women had a great night. Was glad to see that i pretty much kept up with everyone on the drink front and the last round i bought for us was £54!

Nobby (chris) Really nice guy and got us to the best viewing point to see the power slides and crash. Good luck fitting the down pipes and hope they are ok.

Technik (Nick) Jeeees, could shut this guy up  Funny chap. I bet with a few drinks down your neck you would give us your song selction!

Don't think i met anyone else, o hang on how about the gaffer and her husband Mr T. Mr T, you have been given a job to do yet you have not done it yet! We need to sort out the BIG meet for next year, would be great to meet even more people.

If i have missed out anyone i'm really sorry.

Dunc
As for the Gala, we can get anyone in anywhere. How we actually did it with that text to Amar i do not know  Had a fantastic night and think i let a little bit of wee out at some point. The breakdown of us all at the very end was as said before priceless. I really wish that our answer card was at lest mentioned or possibly might be framed.

Thanks to all those Jack Dee comments, we've now lost the banana lady
Hats off to the guy, though, he clearly know how to bring a smile to a girl's face, as evidenced by this photo (although, could also be that famous dry wit  )
