The more I drive her the more I get annoyed at what I reckon is a loss of speed. Just went out for a 20 mile blat with madam driving the Cupra and she pulled away from me every single time. Anything above cold temps seems to really kill the performance for me or it is something more serious but tbh, if she blows up then c'est la vie as I am not attached to this car the way I have been to my others.

Once company taxes etc are paid then I will see where I stand and will either pour one last buttload of cash in this pit or just get a better second car, really don't know. Still lusting after a cupra with 350 or so brake and matching torque all going through the front wheels.

Hello,

I am new on here, just doing a bit of reading about the RS6s as I am hoping to get one soon! If you are seriously thinking of a high powered FWD toy I may have just the thing for you! If you could tolerate a Mk4 Golf instead of a Seat. It was a bit of an issue to me! Mine is up for sale and is fully sorted for hooning about. Last RR was 344bhp.
I would have to say, your and Amars RS6s sound really nice. Can't wait to finally get one. The aim is to replace the passat and the golf...

I will spend a small fortune on tools, take the wheels off, look at the discs and despite telling myself not to, will succeed in conjuring up mental imagery depicting myself driving my rs6 before realising I hadnt tightened a bolt enough and being involved in a single occupancy high speed collision with a tree on a deserted A road with only a rolling hubcap breaking the "deathly" silence. I would then down tools having not changed a thing and make a cup of tea muttering "what was i thinking" to myself as I turn on sky sports news.
The RS6 doesn't have hubcaps and no one actually watches Sky Sports news... do they?

DO you have the same fears when you prescribe medicine, it's a wonder you actually get anything done.
No matter where you go, there you are.
