I agree that more than 750bhp is not required and that oem steelies are not quite up to it. I am looking for larger steelies or ceramics.
I wont touch engine and will only go for more freer exhaust.
john

ps Paulm, I am not on Facebook and sportsmile link opened ok for me. Here are the installation photos for the sportsmile exhaust, with 3" catless downpipe hook up to the turbos from what i can see, courtesy of Tomasz. I dont believe engine out , but will enquire from sportsmile.

There would not be lag with the car with the bigger turbos as MRC's kit has Hybrids, only the warm side has a bigger turbine.

personally £12k for an extra 60hp odd is a lot.

700 should be more than enough for day to day driving.

i bought my car from audi and there was a map on there already, they didnt know and its been back a few times now and i have warrenty.

Sportmile-modified RS6 C6 Stage 2 with 823bhp (exhaust, hybrid turbos and significantly modded cooling system) just last weekend participated in Moscow's Unlinm 500 (semi-wet conditions; car's weight 2070kg):

1/4mile 10.98; 1 mile 27.3 sec (just a bit faster than GT-R Switzer R800 and just 1sec behind Veyron) at 304km/h

See full 1 mile results from the last few years here: http://www.dragtimes.ru/results/allresults (RS6 is at 55th place)

A few videos from the event:

vs. modded Gallardo Superlaggera (600bhp+; with carbon elements): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjgEfe7k ... r_embedded

vs. RS6 C6 Sportec 800bhp (lightweight; revving to 7900): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo-_WAzk7Jg&sns=fb

vs. RS6 C6 Sportmile 750bhp (just exhaust, filters and ECU mod): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2I23Jfp-ys&sns=fb

vs. 911 Turbo Sportec 550bhp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEqmLF-q ... r_embedded

(note that some of these are in v. wet conditions)

I'm on a waiting list to have mine modded :-)

Tomasz

Any info on how that C6 bonnet venting came about?

Paulm wrote:anyone know where I get de-cat pipes or 100 / 200 cell cats? Cant find anything on the net
I have decatted pipes, does make a difference ive found in noise as well as teeny performance gain. However there are small preliminary cats which are in engine bay and would mean engine drop to remove. (not sure if someone has already posted as havent bothered reading every post in thread) I wouldnt remove them unless I went for the hybrid turbo setup that MRC offer and have bigger downpipes as part of that.... I'll probably do the conversion when i get my next fast car in a year or two as will be keeping the c6 so might as well. Just not keen on a water meth setup which is only way of effective cooling it as no current intercooler upgrades atm, Mihnea will be let me know im sure when something crops up.
Quattro in all seasons for Ass Kickin reasons.

Yes it's the pre-cats I want to bin (the ones up close to the turbos) Looking around I reckon I can squeeze them out with the engine still in place.

Hi Tomasz, :bigwave:

Thanks for posting great videos.
Good to see that the RS6 still commands respect at 700+ bhp.
Awesome at 800+bhp.

Look forward to your report on your RS6 after your next modding session at Sportsmile.

If I was in Poland, my RS6 would be next in line!
