Had a classic one last Saturday...

After giving it the complete once over.
Punter "Yeh nice example i've got a few more to see today any chance of a test drive?
Me: "No my friend as i explained on the phone i will be doing all the driving unless you put a deposit on it and since you have a few more to see today i suggest you view them first and then you decide what you want to do"
Punter "So no test drive?
Me "Sorry no"

Wait for it here it comes!!

Punter "Whats your lowest price?
Me "As i told you over the phone 16k you seem to be having a memory lapse you do remember the key points of the phone converstion? Namely last price and test drives and the like.
Punter "How much does it do to the gallon?
Me: Now really peeved my friend this is a 4.2 V8 twin turbo if you need to ask that question this car is not for you.
Punter: "Do you want 12 grand?
Me: " No thank you...

OK i lied i told him exactly what he could do with his 12k and told him that he had 2 minutes to leave or i would bury him in the underground compound where the 6 is parked...

With selling techniques/ threats like that no wonder i cant sell the darn thing

I had loads when selling my s4. Only genuine person to come and see the car bought it. Mr H, who ironically has been banned from this site but is a true gent.
Sadly there are lots of cheap examples knocking around and people think even the good ones should be silly cheap.

True say I filter most out on the phone bit the odd one does slip through.The forementioned chappy asked all the right questions on the phone but turned out to be a complete Food Basket
