Well guys I've kept it quiet but the deal is almost done to move this car onto its new owner it should be away next week an opportunity came up I couldnt say no to. It's been a great car without doubt but I'll focus more now on my b5 for fun. Can't speak highly enough of this forum it's been great, I'd love say I'll be back but I'll never buy another rs4 because it just won't compare to this

As a side step off topic, are you going to ADI this year?

I've sold of a few cars recently and this was always next I'm currently driving a touareg which believe it or not I really really like. I'll get my wide body s4 upto spec and use that for kicks, I'm aiming to buy a 997 turbo or gtr in may next year

Fair play. I looked at a Touareg before my s4 but wanted a v8. I would love a 997, the gtr is a little too in your face for me.

Yup, Moving with the times the b7 really is dated. I've noticed this a lot more recently having driven newer cars there's no denying there still won't be much on the road to match it but for me I want something newer and preferably with an auto box

Sad to see it going, Danny. But stick around, and get that B5 on the road ASAP. What's the latest with that anyway?

Thought you might have been tempted with DK's RS6?

B5 is really only maybe 6 months away from completion Doug has a list of things to complete then it's having interior done then finally engine brakes and gearbox. I now have a forged spare 4.2v8 that could have turbos fitted just to be different. I knew it was coming Paul but you'd understand why I done it if I told you that effectively got every single penny back I spent

Are you going to put us all out of our misery then Danny and put some pics up of the completed car for posterity? :beerchug:

I gather the Heffner R8 project is out of contention as well then?

I'll try have some taken just for you lot G ! That may still happen I'm waiting on Matt coming back to me with figures. DK's rs6 would have been great but I want a break from fast cars. That way I'll appreciate my next one more
