Normally I can pick up Kiss FM just about ok from here and with the stubby in it is very patchy. The other half laughs every time that she sees the aerial, telling me that I have somehow emasculated the car. Will keep it on for a bit longer but methinks it will be going up for sale shortly.
Nick get the slightly longer one like i did, reception is fine. Tell your missus it might be shorter but it has more girth and 2 tons behind it :bigblink:

Getting the same one as you now thanks, for the sake of £15 why the hell not. Will see if reception is just as pants with that one and go from there.

Yes, but I want to drag it out a bit longer and whip you into a frenzy.

Actually, bam has to take some of the credit...

Nah, leave him out of it Shop, he's a big pussy when it comes to brakes. He even rolled his arches 'coz the scrubbing sounds hurt his sensitive ears. Real men fit 390s...

Shame not to share such an elegant solution though. When are you due for new disks? Could try it out on yours?

Lol mock all you want but I think the arch rolling actually saved my ass the other day. Coming out of London the other day on one of the many private runways you all know of course, I had some tool in a beemer if memory serves come scything through the plodding 50 traffic (all taxing for take off of course) and start 'giving it large' behind me, flashing his lights etc. We cleared the traffic and just as it was going to national we had to go over an overpass, beautifully free of any other cars.

Car was fully loaded, seats down, full of servers in the back and all footwells packed etc but I decided to show him who's boss. Dropped my cogs and POWER! he gave up pretty quickly but I stopped counting past 140 or so with foot still planted. At the top of the overpass was a nasty dip in the road. Suspension bottomed like a SOB then briefly launched me airborne Dukes Of Hazzard style. While doing this the car decided that she wanted to point mildly towards the central reservation, then bumped again and then decided she wanted to point towards the hard shoulder, a little bit of quick correcting and moderating the power and I was pointing the right way. If I hadn't had the arches rolled I honestly don't know what the end result would have been but as long as I had survived in one piece I would probably be laughing at my idiocy :D.

The last Beemer that drove like that with me, totally wrote off his brand new 2011 M3 in front of my eyes, oh how I laughed! That story is much better but luckily for you I cba to type it right now.
