CARBON BUILD UP

Post by gromit4x » Wed May 30, 2012 10:57 pm

Do you have a car with carbon build up in it. This not only give poor performance lower miles per gallon makes your car sound bad. I can help by giving your car a fresh breath of life.
With an intake system clean. With very little strip down new plugs and an oil filter change your car will be runing like it should giving better mpg smoother tick over smoother power delivery.

The cost of this is a lot cheaper than have to strip an inlet manifold off with poss damage to other parts at a cost to you and your car is only off the round fdor around 2 hours compared to 2-3 days for a inlet on and off.

If anyone would like a qoute on having this done just pm me and i'll tell you the price, also i can come to you as a workshop is not needed for it to be done.

CARBON BUILD UP

Before you get ruthlessly cut down for blatantly trying to flog a system without being a Sponsor.....

Prove your system works.

Show us the evidence and lots of it.

Quite frankly I doubt a single person here will believe you. This 'method' must be very very new.

As RSkiwi has said, no one on here is going to believe your system works unless you can somehow quantify how ?

I just get the feeling it was that system as shown on 'Wheeler Dealers' so totally not appropriate for the the carbon build up we suffer from.

You might be right as cost and time seems about right
Fwiw, if you ignore the fact it won't touch RS4 intake side carbon build up, I've heard very good things about that system for more 'downstream' engine cleaning

If his workmanship is comparable to his lack of punctuation, proper grammar or a decent spell-check then I think I'll give it a miss. (Just type your post into a word doc first and then copy and paste – you’ll come across as more professional.)

Hi about the carbon build up in the inlet manifold carbon is carbon no matter what car it is. The stuff we use loves carbon and dissolves it on contact burning it off in the combustion chamber.
Please find photos of a mondeo egr valve before and after cleaning. This was first removed from the car and cleaned in the fluid first and then refitted so the fluid can do its job better. As some of the audi / vw engines ie tfsi and fsi,s don't have egr the cleaning would be done straight into the inlet manifold.

Yeah but the point were making is that the RS4 is direct injection into the cylinder so it wouldn't clean the buildup on the back of the inlet valves(which is the issue with these cars) if your system is tied into the fuel system directly , i,m sure it will clean downstream effectively , but how does yours connect to the car for cleaning ?
Phantom black saloon ,PES M112 Supercharged 520ps/595nm K&N filter, 100 cell milltek cats, res valved milltek system. 8 and 10mm H&R spacers.H&R roll bars, "smoke chrome " alloy refurb. Yes i know they are direct injection and yes you are right in that it will not touch the inlet valve that is why the product is sprayed into the inlet track under pressure so as the engine is running the suck of the engine pulls it in so going round the valves cleaning them as well.

I'm dubious, but also very open minded
If you're looking to make a business case for this, then if you were to offer a freebie or a massive discount to an RS4 Owning member and it's shown to work, you're going to have a rather large queue at yor door for this work from other members on here alone
I take it this is some new technology ?

I suggest you have a demo vehicle and document it all the way from start to finish to prove it works for us to see before offering it up IMHO

I would be willing to show someone how it works on there car for a very good discount just to prove that it works. I have been in the motor trade for over 20 years and yes there have been loads of stuff on the market that they say do this that but this is the first one that stands up and does it.
