Nij, thanks for the pics - car looks great - do you get any rubbing or clearance issues at all?? Does it rub when you are on a fast run on bumpy roads under compression etc??

I don't want to start messing round with spacers, think I'll just refurb my OE 19's :)

Whats the reason for that thought if you do it properly with decent spacer kit (hubcentric) there will be no issues

I'm just not keen on the idea for some reason, I'm sure they are fine, but I would always be thinking what if..........

Correction, I’ve got 265/30/20 94Y tyres

Yes and no. I had other things done to my car since putting the RS6 wheels on.

I went for the 9Jx20 instead of 9.5Jx20 because the tyres sit better on the rims and I took a chance on 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers (its equivalent to 6mm and 11mm on the OE wheels). Also, I chose 265/30/20 instead of 255/30/20 was because all the 255’s I’ve found was 92Y load rating (which I thought was a bit too low compare with the OE’s 96Y) and to correct the under read speedo.

At first I didn’t have any problem until one night where I had 4 big lads and a full boot in the car. The rears were catching when going round corners. This only happen once as I don’t usually carry passengers, so I left it as it is.

Then I had lower H&R springs put on the front and wheel alignment done. This has cause rubbing on the nearside front during corners even with only me in the car. I later found that the tyre was catching on a fixing inside the wheel arch (12 o’clock position), so I simply took them fixing off. I now don’t have any issues.

Thank you for the info Nij.

Is there only one fitment option for the H&R springs? If not can you tell me which ones you went for so i can look into ordering the same?

Thanks

I think there's only one option, but you can order just the front springs or a full set. If you just want the fronts then it'll take longer as nobody stock them in the UK. I brought mine from Revolution.
