Good suggestion, I didn't think you could get them that cheap.

RX8?
Thery're about 3,500... CAT C/D. I have looked, and I have driven one, they break traction with ease and loads of fun. I'd rather go cheaper and spend more on mods.

RX8... I thought long and hard about these (RX7 too), the Wankle does my head in, it's a love/hate relationship and I can't figure out where I stand. I'd love to put a crate motor (LS1 or 2) into an RX7, that'd do me.
I'm sticking with the Japcrap. MR2/MX5 are to be looked at.

How tall/wide are you? I am 6'7" which was cramped in the MR2 (think I only just, just fitted in with bonce millimetres below the roof) but to add to it, I was about 21st too at the time, not little! Either car is designed more for shortarses, no offence shortarses ;)
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

They are Jap cars after all. I'm 5'11" and 16.5 Stone (103Kg) I am kinda wide at shoulders but that will be fine if I pick the correct buckets.

That is crazy! Bit above budget but a mental car. So much for going NA first then building to FI.
I do hate the baked beans fart can out the back though...

I would buy it just cause the guy knows about great tyres :sekret:

That would be a great motor.
Did you want a car to mod yourself bam or are you wanting one thats already modded??

I'd prefer to not be killed when on the track reaquainting myself with RWD. That in mind, I'm more interested in track preped road-legal. I'd like to keep power delivery NA and probably introduce FI later, in supercharger form as opposed to turbo.
Stripped, caged, suspension sorted, good brakes, light wheels and trackday tyres are more interesting than engine mods right now.

What about something (keeping it rice related) with an SR20DET lump?
My choice would be an old Pulsar/Sunny GTiR - amazing fun, not too big either.

Found you a ride.

Bit different, handling a bit iffy especially if on cross-ply tyres but should go like a r@ped ape.

Porsche make pretty reliable engines.....
