17 stamps

Post by Rs6spec » Tue May 01, 2012 10:34 pm

Thought it worthy of a thread to let you know I've made it to my second service book, 10 years and 17 main dealer stamps later!

 here's to another 17 stamps!

Expecting it back on Friday with a new gearbox!... Hopefully!

cheers :beerchug:

That is a lot of stamps, reminds me I need to get mine serviced. Not due for another 4.5k miles but I want to stick to 5k mile intervals rather then the set 10, hopefully one day mine will be as stamped up.

And with that Grizz rubbed his hands together and ordered up a new "unit 20" stamp and ink pad....RS6 spotting...now Service stamp collecting...whatever next?

Do you have the service campaigns stamp in the back like the B7?
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Nope, we have the service record and then airbag replacement record and finally repairs to bodywork/structure of the car. My service book has a C6 on the front so is quite a late one.

Me too Amar! I'm always servicing my cars around the 3k to 4k miles mark!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!

It doesn't even need to be a specialist, as long as they service it every 10k to keep the history up, that's fine. An oil/filter change is cheap and easy enough to do. Will do mine this weekend if I get the time to get to TPS for the oil and filter.

Its my car, not company, and I only use it at weekends, luckily only 3 stamps are from me, the first owner was doing 30k a year!

It's all main dealer, no unit 20 yet!

Amar, I have the oil and filter changed every 5 months, but have never thought to record it, just something I get done by a engineer!

Report on how it failed, please? Also, whether you got a new gearbox from Audi or ZF or if you had it built?
No matter where you go, there you are.
