Maybe so Dave, and you're probably right, but that's how it is with me to be honest! Without meaning to be disrespectful to the owners of other RS Audi's or their great cars, I have minimal interest in them and therefore have no need to frequent their forum section as I would have nothing worthwhile to contribute.

For those wanting a national RS246 meet. Maybe we could organise an RS246 owners VMax day? That would be kinda cool, I guess. I suppose I could ask the organisers. Not sure how accommodating they are as I've not been to any Vmax events. Anyway, sorry to thread hi jack and hope you B7 guys have a good meet, looks like last year was a good 'un.

So for the ones who do want a National RS246 meet solutions could be either organise the other forum members to meet at the same location and give Iain a hand or organise a completely different event.

Having organised such things I sympathise with Iain in how much effort it takes to organise even a handful of people, let alone 40+B7 RS4's or the potential of 80+ RS246 members. It is a lot of effort, try it for those who want a National RS246 forum meet.

The bottom line is, its a B7 RS4 meet. There is a RS246 (official meet) in December this year.

To be fair I doubt if you turned up in another model, last year we had a few other Audis turn up.

Having this as a strictly B7 meet is meant as no disrespect to other models.

On the note of a Summer time national RS246 meet, then I am most def up for that. Maybe do a stand at GTI int this year?...just an idea.

On your last comment, I'd like to see more representation of our cars at some of the big shows, there doesn't seem to be much of that happening currently. Trouble is there's not many of us and we are all very spread out so its not easy to get together often. Where's GTI Int?

This was a nice day out last year , was great to put names to faces, or faces to names was well run by ian and i think it was his wife, it was a great to have labels on so you could work out who was who, i would love to come up again but i may have to park in sub car park , my datsun would look out of place
