interesting they have moved the MMI onto the dash as opposed to the trans tunnel ... doesnt seem the most ergonomical move?

Could it be because I got MMI without tech pack?

No, decided £1600 was crazy for sat nav. I got

Black edition (B&O, black styling, MMI etc)
Super sport seats
Parking system
Folding mirrors
Through load
Hill hold

Favourite option is the seats followed by hill hold.

Agree. The sat nav is immense, I was driving an A7 with the google maps one last week, you get an aerial view of the actual buildings, worlds apart from my C5. Your S4 looks great btw, nice pics.

Tech pack low was £1600, tech high was £1830. I got Bluetooth anyway and MMI so don't need a jukebox as my iPod or iPhone is always plugged in. DVD player, what's the point in that? Speech dialogue would be cool I have to admit. So basically sat nav and speech dialogue for £1830. I'm only 26 and only been working for 3 years so not on a high enough wage for kinda pointless options. I just couldn't justify £1600 or £1830 for some things I wouldn't use.

Thanks for the compliments, I got loads at castle Combe yesterday. Had many people walk past and say 'look its a brand new S4'. Just didn't like leaving it around though. Truly a great car.

I love drag racing and track racing. I have had many fast cars and below is a short list of the ones most memorable.

MR2 Turbo REV2 (standard) > MR2 Turbo REV1 300HP> MR2 Turbo REV3 450HP (Nick Name Biscuit tin) > Celica GT4 ST205 WRC 300HP > R32 GTR 425HP > Honda Integra DC2 (standard) > EVO GSR 300HP > R32 GTR 450HP

Now on the hunt for an RS6

Looks great and you're obviously very happy with it, options are a personal thing and what is a must have for one person is not a must have for everyone.
This is the console with tech pack high.

Must admit it looks better with the tech pack. You're right it is personal preference and needs which determines the options chosen.

Loving the interior updates, especially the piano black around the dials.

Still my question is would this S4 with a stage 1 be better than the upcoming RS4?
They are both very costly in South Africa, S4s start at GBP68k here so expect the RS to be 100k :(
