That's pretty scarey and crazy that it's that easy!

its very worrying, bimmer need to address the alarm blind spot and get some sort of firmware fix to block the key reprogramming, 100s of cars have been nicked this year already its like the glory days of the 80s again ...

would be pretty straightforward to require a key code to be sent to the car before the car allows a key to be programmed
