Trip is bloody awesome, put my name down for next year no question. Been out with Nigel in his R8 and Sonny in his B7, and bloody hell they can drive, thanks again for them rides guys. DK came out with me in the plus and was an excellent guide, POWERRRR, loved it, loved it and loved it. The go karting was great fun too, came last both times though!

Some of us leaving the Audi factory/forum in Neckurslum.

I saw the classic cartoon $ $ signs in the cashiers eyes as we pulled in for some 'Racing 100 RON'

This is where we stayed.

There were some seriously nice motors in the car park.

Loved this

Few of mine on the ring...

(I shouldn't have braked here, it was my second lap and first in the dry, I was much better with DK in the passenger seat as an instructor).

... and now wearing it's ring badge with pride

I'll upload more photos over the next few days.

DK - Thank you for organising such a great trip, and thank you Audi. The factory tour was the cherry on top of an already great holiday.

Adam/Imram/Nigel/Dave/Panda/Richard/Philip et all, sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye as we all got mixed up at border control. I'll see you all on the next one hopefully. Bret, it was great meeting you and Boh, thanks for German cake served hot on a C6 bonnet in the tunnel, and I'll give you guys a shout when I'm next in London, loved the C6 by the way and the water meth setup was very intresting.

Goodnight.

My only decent vids are from the convoy on Monday morning!

I removed the camera at customs and was travelling to quick after to re-install it!  LOL.

Anyway, here goes....  Use headphones or decent speakers for full effect!

Nige and Adam actually disappear at the end of this one, completely out of shot!

Tunnel Run 2 - Don't think we we're very popular with the Volvo driver

BRILLIANT Dave ... thank you for reminding me that ASBO actually did come on this trip !

Poor thing, he's still in Belgium !

Righto - I've sent an email do Jonas at Audi AG and Henrik at quattro GmbH to thank them for yesterday, and with all your contributions I got Kirsty at Audi UK a gift at the Tunnel Terminal yesterday and went to see her today to pass on all of our thanks ...

Added bonus !!!

We were meant to be handed some special commemorative books, but I think Hendrik was too busy taking our pictures ! They are being sent to Audi UK and I will pick them up from here

I will see lots you in the coming weeks / months, but for you northerners, PM me your address and i'll post em to you when they arrive.

Those C6's are comically fast and it looks like a great trip all round. Did you have lunch at the restaurant at Neckarsulm as well as part of your forum / R8 prduction tour? Nice scran there.

Yeah Bam, we were dead neck and neck

So with your added weight I'd guess your running close to stock power as your current limp mode

Once you get him Mapped you will wipe a V8's arse but still won't touch Nige's V10

Nige's car is C6 MRC quick (as proven with adsthebadman)

PG“ yes, Audi AG picked up our 700euro foodbill at the Novulari restuarant

Its not what you know ... ;-)

Nice.

Did you see any tasty prototypes when you were there sitting outside ther Quattro GmbH bit? That's where I saw my only glimpses at the Q7 V12 TD's with mahoosive ceramics front and rear.
