I'm not sure what a standard/tuned RS6 does. I'll have a look but I suspect that Doc is right. Standard RS6 does the 1/4 in 12.6.
From my troll of the web road tests on a standard rs5 c5 V8 TT and own experience, on a cool night, the best you will generally see is a 13.01 secs for the quarter.Still fast enough to see off a tuned 335D. Very rare to see a standard C5 rs6 V8TT break into the twelves and I have only read of one that has run 12.9 secs.

A modded c5 rs6 V8TT can achieve twelves.

The only standard RS6 that can regularly run twelves is the C6 V10 TT.

I have to agree.

My 450HP GTR ran a 12.7 @ 117mph and that is considerablly lighter than an RS6 so I would say it would be 13 secs or so for a stock rs6

:biggrin3:
I love drag racing and track racing. I have had many fast cars and below is a short list of the ones most memorable.

MR2 Turbo REV2 (standard) > MR2 Turbo REV1 300HP> MR2 Turbo REV3 450HP (Nick Name Biscuit tin) > Celica GT4 ST205 WRC 300HP > R32 GTR 425HP > Honda Integra DC2 (standard) > EVO GSR 300HP > R32 GTR 450HP

Now on the hunt for an RS6

I went from RS6 to 635d... 0-60mph is no comparison, the RS6 is punch-in-the-kidney's quick... but 60-100mph feels very little difference.

RS6 sounds and looks awesome, and is a feat of engineering.

635d doesn't sound as bad as to be expected from a diesel, but feels much lighter to drive, less understeer and much more modern inside.

For a 3 litre diesel engine, 300bhp+ and almost the same torque as the RS6's V8, its pretty damned impressive in comparison to other manufacturers. Am sorely tempted to run a vmax session to see what it will do. Has anyone seen the *35d engines on a vmax run scoresheet anywhere?
Present:...
Lotus Evora GT410 Sport, Caterham 420R, CCM Spitfire, VW T2 Bay Window 1976

Past:
DB11 AMR, 992, 991.2, Yamaha MT01, 640d Gran Coupe, 635d Coupe, RS6 C5, Audi TT 225 Coupe, Astra with wind up windows, Citroen ZX, Rover 213, yes behold, a Rover 213... Renault 5

think there was a 335 diesel that ran very good speed/times
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

We have a few in the 12s stock here. We have a couple more who are in the 11s with a tune and deleted pre-catalytic converters (but main cats in tact). Race gas on the 11 second cars.

I love the C5 RS6. I always feel like more enthusiasts should own it. Car is awesome.
