Your are correct of course. You pays your money you takes your chance.
At the end of the day if you do have a recurring issue you can reject the car.

What do you think to the car as a whole? How many issues have you had if you don't mind me asking?
Re: My rs3 lasted 15 mins
I got it back today, wow what a car well worth the wait , I have just got rid of my e93 m3 and this rs3 feels better to me so it's all worked out good,
One niggly issue is the centre console supports which stick out at the bottom are abit hard on me left knee apart from that the car is flawless if anything an upgrade to my e93 , well pleased!!!!
the problem was the gateway ecu not main ecu as I said before,
I will be taking some pics tomoz , Thanks for all your help guys

Chris. Only the one issue detailed above. The car was at the dealer for a week. I have another car I use for daily travel so I didn't push for it's return. I just wanted it back fixed.
Over all i am really happy with the car. I sometimes wonder about selling it as i use it so little...... Then I take it out and remind myself why I keep it!

Re: My rs3 lasted 15 mins
I know exactly what you mean. I have had my car since the end of November last year. Creaky, creaky, creaky. What's up with that?Abyss wrote:I had mine for 7 weeks and I'm so pleased to be back in a TTRS, the interior creaked like hell and there was all kings of weird noises would come from the engine bay on start up, which aren't present on all 3 of the TTRS I've owned..
Certainly not Audis finest hour..
I had the car detailed last month and for a few weeks thereafter, the creaking had gone...but it's back now. I just wonder if the panels within the car's interiors are just a bit too flush with each other...there's no play in any panel per se. The interior was given a once over with protectant, so every panel had some pressure applied to it, seemingly sorting the issue....
Who knows, eh? Irritating nonetheless.

Despite my consistent list of niggles (just got it back after another week in the Shop lol, but its now developed a new problem on the way home
) its worth it
such a hooked up little buzz box and so easy to live with
i regret deeply rejecting my B5 RS4 and the RS3 is a 100 times better to drive imo

audi do seam to build cars wrong from time to time, one RS3 came with door lock switch on both sides and on pistonheads an A6 owner ordered the large fuel tank and it came with the standard one, hes getting a new car
audi make millions of cars that are ever more complex and customisable so sometimes the odd thing goes wrong
