Yellow S4 Avant at Redline Rumble

Post by Lewis » Tue May 18, 2004 9:54 pm

I was at the redline Rumble at santa Pod Sunday, there was a Yellow S4 Avant a couple of Rows back in the Car Park (Field of extremely long grass)

Wondered if you got as burnt as me and my Girlfried?

There were some bloody quick cars (supra ran sub 10 Secs) and some chewed up trnsmissions due to the hot weather making the track very sticky!

Shame only Audi was a standard A8 4.2, still nice one for trying!

Lewis,

I didn't get burnt, I was too busy with the guy who had that little nova that did the 11.4 during the morning, gave that Fensport Corrola a run for its money.

like you said shame about the A8 with the mismatched wing, but then its not the sort of thing that attracts the AUDI BIG BOYS.

So that was yours Yellow Avant????

Noticed that you didn't have the peeling Door handle problem I have (see my posting in the S$ forum), any Ideas?

Lewis,

Sorry mate I dont know why the door handles peel, it is easy to get the door panels handles off though, just get some more handles and replace them, even if it will happen again its only a small price considdering the value of your car.

gromit,

I always reluctant to remove the panels as experience tells me they'll never go back on properly and end up vibrating.

Haven't looked into doing on the Audi though, whats the plan of attack, are there any dodgy clips that I'm likely to break?
