Tyre choices ??? what, who, where

So is 275/30/19 a popluar choice over 255/35/19? Why is it 30 profile?
Am needing to get a couple of tyres for the back, have got Sport Contact3s on just now, but thought they wore down rather quick. Got 2 new SC3 on front when I got it but havnt checked how theyre wearing yet!
Am thinking on going for the Goodyear F1s.

the "30" number is the sidewall depth as a % of width, so 255/35 and 275/30 both have a fairly similar sidewall depth.

since the 275/30 tyre will have higher revs per min, will you're speedometer will be off? Sure all speedometers are off some %, but will this put it more off?
