Got my collar felt :-(

Post by Timster » Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:45 pm

This afternoon.... guess where?
...Yup, the Hatfield Tunnel.

Serves me right. I floored it as I came onto the A1 southbound, just before entering the tunnel.
I was trying to get around two pikey lanscaping-trucks who were mucking about.
The rozzers pulled me at the other end of the tunnel (I'd probably gone way over 100). I just coasted for them as I spotted them too late.
To be fair I held my hands up and the Officer just said "They are nice cars aren't they.... but watch your rear-view when your coming onto the motorway"

Top Copper in my book. He could have been a complete b*stard if he'd wanted to.

At least he was a decent copper, back in the late 90's my dad had a E34 M5, copper pulled him over, dad thought he was getting done for speeding, the copper wanted to know more about the car as he had an E28 M5 at the time.

Unfortunately not. I had to fob him off with 2 doughnuts and a granary sandwich loaf (unsliced).

Lucky boy Timmy, lucky boy. I must resist the urge to misbehave on the way down to the next Ace Cafe. Home only. Looking forward to it following my change from resonated to straight non-res.

I had a play in the Hatfield tunnel on Saturday, slowed down and then let rip in the tunnel. The noise is mental.

Nice to hear of a decent run in with the law. There are some good ones out there.

Behave yourself though :bigblink:

That's crossing the line of decency, surely...
