Why? Do think they look too small? Too 'fine' or 'delicate' for what's actually a chunky looking car? Or is it the colour?

I don't know atm, all the images I saw of them really made them look lighter/more of a Ti finish that what they appear to be. I know the giveaway is in the 'graphite' colour name but I took a gamble based on the pics. They just look a little too stealthy for me. Without being able to try 20 different rims on your car before buying you always take this risk to an extent.

I am sure they will grow on me and the main thing is they she sticks to the road like glue I suppose ;)

wouldnt worry i've just bought some wheels that are the same, never seen mine fitted to a rs6, so its going to be a bit of trial and error.

there are very few wheels that suit the rs6 i think, due to its stupid offsets, RS6 need concave wheels ideally.

Valeter should be on for tomorrow or Weds latest so I will have pics up shortly after that.

While I am on here, I have the old 18's for sale now. I had the tyres taken off the rims so they are available for anyone to stick what they want on. Saying that though, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres weren't bad at all and all have between 6.xmm and 7.xmm of tread left on them. I will be selling these too.

You're a tease. Is sir too good to wash sir's own car? ;)

The Michelins are good, aren't they? Did you get the PSS or the PS2 in the end? Can't remember.

After having the bodywork fully detailed recently and just not having the time to waste washing her currently (Summer is a different thing of course), Valet man is doing the work. Housemate has a gift voucher for a valet from him too so he is killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

I got the Michelin Pilot Super Sports (Go big or go home) in 275/30/19

Bugger.

I took my multigym apart that I have bent and buckled too damn much to use anymore and took a part of it to be toughened up by my old Jag mechanic. On the way back I decided to do some country lane driving and without even trying just got 'scuff' 'scuff' 'scuff' noises from the right front wheel arch. The combination of the current ride height, tyre width and damper setting (unknown) is meaning that once you stick my big ass over the right front combined with the weight of the engine, you just have to look at a slight dip in the road for the tyres to catch :(.

Heyho. Will raising the ride height by say 1cm throw the alignment that I just had done all out of whack? I genuinely don't know but suspect it does.

No, if anything it'll help with the camber.

Yeah the 275s get you scuffing a fair bit. I bought a heat gun and did a bit of remodelling of the linings.
Failing that, rip the linings out and plastidip the arch areas, that should stop the stone dings. *joke*

Believe me, it's been considered. Remove arch liners, then cut and glue up tractor inner tube rubber to fit into the arch areas to stop stone dings. I've thought about it. The heat gun was a better option but it's still not perfect, there's a lot of suspension travel when it bottom's out.

You love your plastidip don't you? BTW I bought a can each of black, clear and multi-purpose rubber coating last week, great stuff.
