Are the 8mm and 10mm H&R hubcentric? If not, is there enough protruding hub spigot to center the wheels? H&R say on their site that with the 8 and 10mm spacers you need 14 or 16mm protruding spigot respectively:

http://www.trakplus.com/trakguidelines/

This leads me to believe that the 8 and 10mm spacers are just flat.

Last thing I want is issues centering the wheels.

Yes, they're hubcentric.. a tried and tested mod, you'll get no problems with them :)

OK, just trying to understand. Just paranoid because there was a thread recently about a guy who put them on his B7 and had vibration issues. Think he had his wheels rebalanced, or something, to fix it.

So do they look flat like this:

or what I call hubcentric like this:

Exactly what I'm thinking, so which is it? :)

Anything other than hubcentric would be a crazy choice.

Sorry, I wasn't being clear. Confusingly on the h&r site they call the flat one hubcentic. So my question becomes: do the spacers you recommend look like the flat ones (don't want) or the shaped ones (do want).

They shouldn't describe a flat spacer as hubcentric IMHO.

The whole point of the flange is that the weight of the wheel is on that and NOT on the bolts.

That was me!

Mine are H&R hubcentric spacers, balancing the wheels sorted my issues which of course means the spacers were not the problem in the first place. You do have to take care when fitting though, correct torque, star pattern to tighten etc, etc...

H&R do two types (at least). One are the hub-centrics, the others aren't.
The SECOND PICTURE is hubcentric !!

Just order through Virdee on here. He'll supply the correct ones and just as importantly, the correct bolts too.
(all at a good price)

Edit: He's even doing a group buy. Sorted.
