Sunbeam Imp Sport
Sunbeam Stilletto
Ford Cortina 1600E
Hillman Avenger Tiger
Rover SD1 3500
Opel Senator 3.0E
MG Maestro
Jaguar XJ40
Chevrolet Corvette C4 Z51
Austin Maestro Van
Peugeot 306 Roadster
Ford Escort Van
Peugeot 205 Diesel
Audi 80 Avant
VW Transporter T4
Audi S6

a few howlers in there but they served the purpose at the time. With the exception of the T4, the vans were second vehicles and I had the Jag, the Vette and the Maestro van all at the same time (probably the best combination - a car for every occasion)

That's quite some list Adrian! Like you I've been driving 22 years, but my list of previous cars seems a bit pathetic in comparison...

Ford Fiesta Mk1 (in two-tone brown & gold with lots of rust thrown in!)
Volvo 340 (bought for £75, sold for £80!)
Peugeot 205 GTi
Peugeot 306 XSi
Audi S3
BMW 130i M Sport
Audi B7 RS4 (easily the best by an absolute mile!)

I guess it shows I just don't change cars very often...with the exception of the Volvo (which only lasted 3 months) and the Beemer, I owned each of the others for at least 4 years. Have had the RS4 for just over 2 years and still love it, so can't see me letting go of it any time soon! :D
2009 Sepang Blue TTRS Coupe
2006 Sprint Blue RS4 Saloon (B7) - Sold but not forgotten
2006 BMW 130i M Sport - Sold
1999 Imola Yellow S3 (Revo Stage 1 265 bhp) - Sold

Yeah, I'm starting to think that maybe the wife did have a point after all.... I usually keep them for around 18 months, a couple i kept for longer but there's also some doubled up as well. At the mo, including my wifes Mini we have 4 lol!!! I *had* to get my RS4 there and then as it was likely to be snapped up before i sold my Type R.... which is still for sale btw ;-)

Some interesting cars on the lists so far. Mine are all quite dull.

Renault 18 GTX Estate (Suprised a lot of people in it's day, as no one seemed to know it had a 2litre engine under the bonnet)
Sapphire 2.0i Ghia
Renault 19 16v Chamade
Vectra SRi V6
BMW E36 M3 Saloon (3litre, so one of only 50)
Audi C5 RS6 Avant

Not a lot of cars in my list. I've been driving since 1987, so it works out at me changing cars every 4 years.

R18 GTX Estate > Saphire 2.0i Ghia > R19 16v > Vectra V6 SRi > M3 > RS6 Avant

Complete car ownership history since passing test...

1960 beige vw beetle full adjustable front end, kept rat style (1.3 no performance engine)

Peugeot 405 mi16 ex nz Touring car engined. Fun but electrically the worst car I have ever owned.

Peugeot 106 gti. Huge grin factor on nz windy roads.

Jeep Cherokee full off road kitted. Was a complete POS.

2006 WRX (2.5) another for massive grin factor.

Audi A6 2.8 banger, served a purpose for getting four lads and four mountainbikes around

A4 3.0 B6 qs. Actually miss this car it was fantastic and I still love how they look. Perfect for easy driving but still went well enough for some fun.

Now the RS, enough said.
