Nice car, but agreed, odd and strange boot trim.....?? Good price, given mileage.

See, I love the boot lip trim, it gives the rear-end width and definition... well it would on mine with a debadge, rear fog delete and boot lock delete. I'll be switching back to alu trim very soon.

*bam_bam raises both eyebrows at how jacked the rear is on that car*

It is essentially the same car DK posted but with Bilsteins PSS9s and an RNS E as well as a milltek, 2005 black saloon with 48k for around the same price.

Errrrr, didn't someone post that on here the other day saying he had brought it for £10k??? Can't find the thread now. Said he brought it from someone but didn't know it was a milly but was just told it was a sports exhaust.
Where the hell has the thread gone?? Come on people, i know it's early but surely someone else saw it :?:

It's not an alu boot trim, which is what it is supposed to have. It's chromed trim that you get on the other A6's. The RS6 version is expensive and rare second hand. This tells me that this car has been in a shunt and they didn't stretch to getting the right bootlid for it.

I know it from another forum (the one on eBay) he paid £11,900, but it looks like he has had it serviced by Audi and had Bilsteins fitted too so the price is more then fair. The fellas name is something like 'ilovecoldbeer'

If its the same guy he posted about the DRC failing on 11th dec http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=94294

The rear trim on the boot does look odd with the black optics - I can however confirm that is only brushed aluminium "effect" on the RS - if you a nob and use a soft metal cleaner and too much elbow grease you will end up with a clean and shiny finish (yes I did learn my lesson) - just need to find a way of re "matting" it. I like black optics but think they may look odd on an avus 'loon with standard wheels

Same guy, because on the other forum he posted photos. Looks like a well sorted RS6, just had £3.5k forked out on suspension, gearbox oil change and service from Audi, 2005 with low miles. Price is spot on IMO. I would have a look if I were in the market.

(by the way, I am refering to my eBay one not the DK one)
