If you want to see pics of mine for comparison, check here:

These look really good, thanks for the info, I will keep this post updated on how I get on as I know there are others who may be interested in buying new or replacing existing mats.

Cheers.

Steve, are you sugesting this ebayer has sold these in the past, and if so, he gets them from time to time or special order???
The email address that I listed was the german person who had a german ebay shop at the time all those years ago... You could give it a try. It was just that the german mats were the nearest to OEM that you could buy at the time. Indeed the standard german mats are LHD, but any company manufacturing/selling will normally do a RHD set on request, which is what we did when a few of us bought in 2006.

Have a look around as there are a few good ones (unfortunately a load of rubbish also out there)... The Autostyle ones listed above seemed ok and were readily available.

Good luck.

I have googled this email address "maeusemode@freenet.de" and found this contact. Sabine Holzke. Looking at the results of the search, this seems to be the right person.? I know we're going back a few years but how much did you end up paying including delivery, resonable back then? if you don't mind me asking.
Ive sent an email so let's see if I get a reply?

Yeah ok, il try my best to sort this out, emailed Sabine, but have read on other threads that she is not great at getting back to you quickly. Iam also trying the other couple of other options people have added to this thread above, but as its the Christmas holidays Im struggling to get a response. When I have more info I'll keep updating this thread.

Worth the wait, I think that there was only Bob on ere that had the OEM mats, and they were well over £300.

Good luck

Group buy info here, but pretty sure the RS6 mats with logos were a limited run at that time, though. :|
I have a set of those mats and they were not a limited run iirc audi pulled the plug due to patenting issues........shame as I would like another set as they were a very good fit and nice quality :)
Really? Didn't know the reason behind it, only that they disappeared off the website shortly after I placed my order. Did think about getting more than one set at the time, but thought I'd see how well they lasted first... :bash:
As it happens, they're still doing pretty well:

If the quality of the mats was at least up to either the 1st pic or TechNick's I would be very interested in a group buy. Ideally I would like the grey trim to go with the piping of my seats but meh ;) :D.

Thanks for your efforts so far, they are most appreciated :D

No problem, when I know you'll know

To be honest the pic I first linked is what Iam after but beggers can't be choosers and it looks like I'm begging at the min. Funny thing is, the matts I've currently got are in good condition, iam just a fussy bugger.

Hi Steve
Brilliant... I wonder how he (Edcase) got on with his M5?
I think he ditched the M5 fairly quickly and went onto a 335i-M but seems to have sold it in 2008 (see Http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327111) - may have fallen on hard times as he seems to have been looking for a Clio...

I'm just glad I "rescued" his 6 - oh, and the mats (just to stay on topic!). :redrs4:

Dave
