Privacy glass

Post by PaulAlex » Thu Dec 01, 2011 5:03 pm

Hello guys,

I've been on the lookout for an RS4 Avant for some time, and may have found a nice one. However, the pics I've seen show the privacy glass as being almost black - which I'm just not sure about tbh.

The car appears to be have been well looked after by an enthusiast owner, is in good condition, has ceramics, Milltek, map etc - but I'm just not 100% sure whether the black windows look a bit "max-power" or not?

Has anyone got pics of their cars with factory privacy glass?

Cheers,

Paul

With that spec WGAF if its got the privacy glass!

Seriously though, I know what you mean about the way it could look but due to what the car is I dont think you need to worry about it looking 'Max Power'.

Here is mine without PG, if someone whacks a shot up of one with PG it may help with your decision

Edit: Yes I did use this as an excuse to post a picture up

I remember a few years ago when everyone said that about the black optics kit.

Privacy glass is dark from factory (PaulRS4 has privacy on his avant). can I post pic paul?

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

If on in order of preference 1/Phantom, 2/Daytona, 3/Imola / Ibis (if with optics) or 4/Mugello it looks good, on Sprint, Misano or Avus it looks naff. IMO of course.

Not to hijack the thread but I think this one is just plain disgraceful (Old ride before RS)
