Iv been to the states many times, loved it, but I could not spend more than 6 months there. Iv spent a lot of time in Dubai hated it, cant spend more than a few days there.

The only thing that pisses me off is that prices never come down, public national infrastructural topics is the bug bear, expensive fuel, travel and council tax. Feel sorry for you guys who live in Inner London who spend thousands on parking there car.
Sonny you are spot on about parking costs.

Parking Permit = £120 a year
Repairing damage caused by feckers who cant park = £1200 :bash:
My parking permit was £240.

Thats a whole new level of bodily exploration the Council want to undertake. IIRC its around £5 a day and you are only allowed 10 day parks a year unless you are in need of homecare.

Apparently socialising more than 10 days a year is beyond what the average person can expect.

Bam_bam, my parking permit was only £80 3 years ago, not entirely sure where the extra £40 has gone. :bash:

They just "go in dry" when selling you those temp parking permits, these only come in 6hrs tickets so you have to use two, 6 days per week. I blew through £50 worth of books in 2 weeks when my permit ran out (I knew my car was going into MRC for a long spell so I didn't renew and reverted to temp parking books).
Front bottoms.
