Hi All,

Ok, been around a few of the pubs etc in the area of Ladybower, all seem pretty happy to entertain us late morning. However, they all said the same thing about lunchtime "no chance because of sunday lunches".

The Strines Pub said they could probably let us stay until 12.30 - 1.00pm. They also offered a Bacon Sandwich and Coffee or Tea for £5.00.
The Yorkshire Bridge said we would be ok until 12.00 - 12.30, bacon sarnie and tea or coffee £ 8.50
Ladybower Inn said they will be too busy and have a small car park.

Alternatively there is a car park with a roadside cafe at the bottom of the Snake Pass, the guy that owns it said he will be there until 3pm.

There are plenty of places to go for a run, just depends on what time we are meeting, daylight etc. Will post a couple of proposed routes if you want me too.

Need to ring and let them know, so please post your thoughts.

Jay.

Happy to go with the flow...

However mid-morning meet, 10:30? Bacon butty and a brew somewhere would be good then off for a bit of a sprint and a few pics?

10.30 at strines works for me, not been there yet, and the surrounding roads are awesome. Timin wise it also lets me meet up with a bunch of Lotus owners in the afternoon - they need to learn that nice as they are, the Elise's K series or toyota engines are 4 cylinders short of a soundtrack =)

Doh, cant do the 4th :(

Didn't pay enough attention to the diary. I'm in Germany that weekend, as I noted here:

The Ladybower pub car-park is reasonably big. But people are correct, if it is sunny, it will be full! I know they are happy for meets, as we hold the monthly Caterham gathering there.

The Strines Pub does indeed have a bigger car park - well field to be more precise. I am happy with either location, and happy to go with the flow.....

I am in Texas until 16th ish of November, so 20 or 27th works for me, then I'm off to Germany the week after
