So THAT's the surge..

Post by AlexRS4 » Mon Nov 14, 2011 12:02 am

Got my car back friday from the stealer, 6400 euros total bill, including s complete engine disassemble for carbon cleanup, the cleanup, new OEM clutch since Sachs cocked up and it was already open, new front shock (leak, non-warranty), new lambda sensor. (which should have more to do with power restore than the carbon)

So, that's what you guys mean by power surge at 5500rpm... Fook me, feels good. It made me forget the ripoff two minutes after I left the stealer. Plus on the way back from Mlan saturday night a Bentley GTC thought there was a station wagon in his way, before being pushed and flashed at 230... Poor thing... It made me think that despite 38k for the car (euros) plus 6400, I'm not even close to 50k, and that guy spent what, 200k? :bash:

Now, some winter tyres, the Milltek I got from Revo's sale, some K&N and we'll see how right it feels...

I'll scan and post the bill later... But I am going back monday to confirm the warranty on THIS service, since they took everything apart for the cleaning.
Black 4.2 RS4 Avant, Titan wheels.
Going for K&N, flat bottom steering, LED rear lights, Dectane headlights, Milltek or Tubi exhaust.
May Sachs Performance rot in hell.
