Re: My Rs4 Project

Re: My Rs4 Project
Looking good Rick, cant beat the nice moody council garages, I used to keep my RS4 in one when at my old place.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
Re: My Rs4 Project
Sweet pic mate, looks very mean...... I think i need to go blacked out!
Re: My Rs4 Project
thats pretty much bang on - about a 20c difference is give or take 7-8% more dense and you've got a 7% increase in air mass.Rick_RS4 wrote:max i saw was 31, it was 12-16 befre the max 170 g/s that was lastnights run, adsgreen wrote:Do you have a before log as the intake temp is very very low which will skew the results.
last time i logged it was 159.72 g/s with inlet temps 23 and AAT 28.
what blocks do you log when out?
Re: My Rs4 Project
done a couple of small things today,
first i wrapped the numberplate surround (black ofcourse)
not a fan of unpainted plastic on bumpers etc.
and secondly i fitted LED numberplate lights , i bought some 9 led festoon bulbs and fitted them non canbus, the bulb holder looks too small an area really for hot resistors so i opted for a seperate resistor, i wired the resistor in and fitted it behind the trim panel in the boot, job done, look so much fresher now.
pics of these tomorrow

Re: My Rs4 Project
i ordered a couple of badges to revert back to chrome,

the pic below from top to bottom
Front grill rings
front grill rings
Rear rings A8
Rear rings RS4
A8 s are slightly larger, part numbers if anyone wants them
no pics on the car as it was nearly dark.
oh and to get the front badge off you dont have to remove the bumper, you can just squeeze a finger behind to move the tabs behind, whilst pulling from the front.

Re: My Rs4 Project
just a couple of pics since the height has been sorted out

i decided to give the old gal a polish last week
started off washing the car, wheels off etc, then poorboys clay bar and quick detailer, followed by poorboys black hole, then a layer of collinite, going to try the purple dodo juce wax this weekend,

i had the calipers done in red and re logo'd as the black was getting tired.

exhaust plans are in motion and going to look at some wheels possibly tomorrow

Coilovers or springs?
What height did you drop front and rear?
Spacered?

thanks, yeah painted them and the baseplates as the baseplates were a bit bubbly, going to try some 20s on today in silver, not standard audi ones and nothing set in stone yet so you will have to waitGavla wrote:I like it nice stance - I see you've also done the wing mirrors black, looks good with black optics![]()

Okay great - silver could be interesting. Please post some pictures up (if possible) as I would be interested to see how this looks as I have a similar setupRick_RS4 wrote:Gavla wrote:I like it nice stance - I see you've also done the wing mirrors black, looks good with black optics![]()

On the KW Coilovers - Do you have much left in adjustment at the rear? Only asking as some people have said that this kit is at maximum to reach the SS+ height. Thanks.
