Where was that April 2006 Daytona on 18s first registered? To an Audi dealer like Oaks or Oakfield? Recall a mate test driving an early Daytona saloon on 18s it when it was new with a plate along the lines of R5 0AKS (R 50 AKS). I might have a pic on home PC somewhere.
Fair enough. I haven't came across that with other cars. Certainly not something that happens with RNS510 equipped Sciroccos. They might have put it back in properly before taking a photo right enough!

last owner was from Perth, could be the same car. As it was a demo for a few months before he bought it.

I pulled out of the sale for this car this morning reg SP06 LNT. To renew the warranty on rs4 cars with 60k+ miles costs an eye waterting £2500 from Audi for 12 months. Will mean this one will be hit hard in a years time on resale. Also it doesnt have factory bluetooth (they wouldnt pay for it either to be retrofitted) and is not a one registered owner car either like their ad said. The search goes on..

Why on earth would you want to buy a warranty for anything like that amount? Take 10 individual owners off here and ask them what there cars have cost them over and above routine maintenance and consumables and i bet the majority is little if nothing at all like myself, take aside clutches rads etc as there not covered come crunch time what are you protecting? The cost far outweighs the gains in the vast majority of cases i really dont see what assurance your buying for a hellova lot o cash,if the cars ate gearboxes or turbos like b5 rs4 did then fair enough but what does go rarely wrong with these aint covered anyway! Aux rads clutches sticky exhaust valves bolsters that dont inflate etc etc

Oh, another not so transparent advert from Audi...

If it was me Steve, I would probably buy from a long standing forum member/petrolhead. You will probably get a far better car and know it's history.

Probably a wise move.

Noticed they do have it listed again for pretty much bargain bin sort of money.

Audi's warranty is clearly better than none at all but testimony from forum members shows the 'approved-used' scheme is not all its cracked up to be. £2.5k ??? :piss:

Scan the classifieds on here for peace of mind is my recommendation.

Woppum?

regarding warranty - my cars warranty expires October 17th and I have not made a single claim on it - just to add to the warranty proc/cons - 'luckily' it came with the car but I would'nt renew it again if I was keepin the car.

Yeah on TSN, the car is from Perth though? I'm guessing this is the garage - strange their website does not mention an address. 01256 is Basingstoke.
