Anyone had a similar fault with the volume on RNS-D? Basically, regardless as to the volume level when the unit is turned off (or the ignition turned off, with the unit left on), upon restarting, the volume goes to maximum.
Is it a simple one? Be good to know.
thanks
Volume?
Re: Volume?
Might be as simple as the 'default' volume level I seem to remember you can set for the different sources (incl. Satnav).
Is it possible you whacked up the volume one time and then accidentally programmed that as the default?

Re: Volume?
I get this, but the other way. It turns on at a low volume, but remembers the last numerical volume setting, so if it was on loud and you knock it up a notch, it'll suddenly jump to a really loud volume. I suspect it's a firmware bug. Not a biggy.
Your problem sounds like what TechNick is talking about, though.
