I should have added....'Bar the upgraded radiator'!RTS BRAT wrote:I kept the Vanes as removing them causes the sensors to error. They can't read the posistion of the vanes... I got mine polished and re-inserted instead.
Where did you get you upgraded radiator from?

Re: My Rs4 Project
Did it dyno 470 at MRC?
Re: My Rs4 Project
470bhp with 200 cell cats still in place? Sorry mate I don't see how u managed that
1*** hp TTE C6 rs6 saloon and the ultimate WB B5
Re: My Rs4 Project
All of these upgrades only yielded 445ps (=438.90 hp), MRC advised me that was all the expected from a car with Cats and variable veins. They also ensured that the auxiliary radiator was cooled prior to conducting the final runs, as the initial runs only yielded 405ps. So I know hot air was not a factor.
The car was Dyno'd again with DMS, and confirmed 440hp (=446ps) with MRC map.
I then had it Re-mapped by DMS (I have both dyno charts from DMS and MRC (Hard copy only, but I'm sure MRC would be happy to supply a soft copy))

Re: My Rs4 Project
So your car has 438ps ar mrc?
Re: My Rs4 Project
Please read the history on the Blog... I understand that you may not believe it, but all I can suggest is that you go to SPA, Silverstone or Nurburgring and see the proof for yourself... Many have!!

Re: My Rs4 Project
Why i have my own that made 460ps at mrc,i only asked to clarify as you claimed 470 but low torque figures didnt add up,but if your car makes 438ps like mine used to it explains the torque being down
Re: My Rs4 Project
I don't see how your cai is so much more effective than the ones all ready being used that's my point

Very interested to know the differences also. My car did 464.6 and 513nm back in Jan with no cats and stage 1 manifold.
Had another clean, stage 2 manfifold and spacers done, only did 450 and 500nm's last Friday at MRC. Ambient temps were obviousley
alot higher and borometric pressure was lower but still hoped for more.
Daytona Avant - Optics - Titanium pack - MRC 464.6ps 513Nm - H&R ARBs + Springs - Apikol Diff mount - 034 Tranny mount - JHM Shifter

Re: My Rs4 Project
I've just converted the exact Horse Power and Torque figure:lengster1 wrote:Why i have my own that made 460ps at mrc,i only asked to clarify as you claimed 470 but low torque figures didnt add up,but if your car makes 438ps like mine used to it explains the torque being down
Horsepower to PS (Metric HP)
Horsepower: 469.7 HP = 476.22 PS
lb/ft to Nm (torque)
Foot Pounds: 348 lb/ft = 471.29 Nm
I hope this makes more sense now?!

You can host images on www.photobucket.com or use the sites image uploading tool, very straight forward.
