I've said it once. It comes down to when you actually have to use them, they'll force you to use one their chop-shops. If you can live with that, £875 is very good. My renew came through at £1075 I think.
No matter where you go, there you are.

1 x C6 Caliper - £566
1 x C6 Disc - £330

Obviously times two but very cheap

Audi warranty or nothing, if not I would put the 2-3k i.e the cost of the Audi warranty into a slush fund. Your car seems sorted....

I personally think slush funds are a false economy.

Anyone gonna renew their existing WD cover? Luke?

Last year could only get named component cover (Audi Extended Warranty) with 15000 mileage limit and no excess for £2376...

This year renewal has just turned up and to my horror prices are down...
Brace position please for the following levels on offer...(Few examples)

Cover Mileage Limit Excess Roadside Assistance Price

Comprehensive 15000 Nil Yes £1590

Comprehensive Unlimited Nil Yes £2082

Comprehensive Unlimited £250 Yes £1294

Named Component Unlimited £250 Yes £999

Named Component 15000 £250 Yes £777

One thinks Audi have been ripping of Rs6 owners for way to long and have now decided after losing a whole lot of warranties elsewere because of crazy price structure compared with identical brands have now decided to be a bit more realistic with prices...

This is sounding much more like it. Any terms such as maximum age, miles, need for dealer service history etc?

Anyone ever had two aftermarket warranties running concomitantly, and made a claim on them both at the same time for a fault to guarantee the total cost of the repair being covered in one way or another? I can get two for less than the price of the Audi...

I suspect this is expressly forbidden in the T&C of each. You risk voiding both.

No doubt. But how could they find out? Unlikely they'll both turn up at the same time to inspect the fault (if at all).

If you're willing to take the risk. I don't know if they share information like the insurance companies do.

OK, a quick question, if the car is out of warranty does it need to be inspected prior to warranty being taken out, are there any mileage restrictions and presumably the car has to be standard so no bilsteins, etc etc or will they just take suspension etc out of what is being covered?
She may be big and heavy but its whats on the inside that counts.....

Depends which company you're talking about. Almost all will have an inspection, or at least a cooling off period. Some have mileage restrictions.
