Not sure I understand the question RS Storm.
On the RNS-D, you can enter the first 5 (I think) digits of a postcode when selecting a location, and then narrow down the location by selecting the street name / intersection / house number range etc...
Are you just after an up-to-date disc with any new postcodes on it?

Um...my RNS-D does?!
Can't remember exactly, but when you are at 'Destination Entry', instead of typing in the name of the town/city, just start typing in the postcode (ie: instead of 'London'...type NE12_3).
Select the postcode (first 5 digits only) form the list that pops up, then narrow down your loaction by selecting the street / house number range / intersection etc etc.
Mine works like this (but think I have an 03 disc so some new postcodes don't exist).
